~ Cancon Vinyl Auctions ~ You are bidding on this Rare Canadian Psychedelic Acid 45 by Jewel entitled " Being There " b/w " Pass Me By " on Tiara Records KS 32778 ( true stereo), original Canadian pressing from 1978.
Extremely rare custom private pressing by Jewel - recording in the Toronto Canada area but hailing originally from Ottawa Canada.
You won't find this 45 listed in any of your record guides - extremely rare small pressing run featuring a standard 3 way 45 sleeve housed inside a custom hand pasted 3 way folded Picture Sleeve.
Lead singer Dalton Kehoe's singing career started out as a rock band in Montreal and then later formed an Acid Rock band and settled in Toronto in 1967.
Ten years later, in 1978, he pushed the music of his past into the present and recorded this killer Acid Psychedelic 45 track that features a 12 string acoustic electric guitar with solid Lead, Rythm and Bass electric guitar strokes that drenches this 45 with fantastic electric fuzzy guitar riffs in places and some great synthesizer effects...and hauntingly sounding a little bit like "Rockadrome" on some of the music beds.
The B-Side is a love ballad featuring lead vocals from Dalton Kehoe's sidekick - Bonnie Nolte.
This extremely rare 45 was recorded at Kinck Sound Productions in Scarborough and privately manufactured in Unionville Ontario.
A great bio of this group is featured on the rear of the Picture Sleeve.
A definite Psychedelic Acid Fuzz 45 that will satisfy some of your fuzzy needs...especially when played really loud...in true stereo!
This truly exceptional 45 is really worth adding to your existing Psychedelic Canadian 45 collection...uncomped!
An outstanding true near mint 45...and the only one you will ever see on E-Bay.
The custom hand pasted Picture Sleeve is absolutely wonderful except for some very light signs of aging.
