Mega rare original LP of Jimmy Smith - At Club Baby Grand Volume 1 (Blue Note 1528 - mono) Original issue blue and white Lexington address labels with Deep Groove, RVG, flat edge and ear on both sides. Also no trademark "R" on either label. One of Smith's first LPs for Blue Note also features Thornel Schwartz and Donald Bailey in a Blue Note classic that no serious jazz collector can be without.
The LP is in VG condition (at best) with lots of marks and scratches that will definitely make noise - not for the audiophile by any means - you are going to hear noise on this one. The cover is in VG/VG+ condition with general age/shelf wear and paper loss on the spine. NO writing, NO stickers, NO stamps. Certainly not the best copy the world has ever seen, but how many Lexington Blue Notes do you see at this price?
The LP will be carefully packed using professional materials (over twenty years experience safely selling jazz LPs around the world). Mailing costs as calculated below to a U.S. address. Overseas winners will be quoted the appropriate mailing rate at the close of the auction. Shipping discounts for multiple items sent together.
Paypal accepted or write for other payment options. Serious bidders only - payment must be received in ten days from notification. All items are guaranteed upon return in condition sent, but mailing costs are NOT refundable. Thanks for your interest and good luck.
