Description

For sale are six nice Joan Baez releases with 9 total records on Vanguard and Portrait, open Vanguards are all tan labels: Blessed Are: Vanguard VSD-6570/1 from 1973 with bonus 7" single still attached inside the gatefold. The cover has a good bit of ring, but is otherwise pretty nice, good spines, very nice inside gatefold and back. The sleeve of the single is split along one side. The vinyl has some light scuffing, VG+ visually, but plays nearly perfectly except for a little bit of the 7", and even that noise is minimal. Joan: VSD 79240 from 1967. The jacket is on the stronger side of VG+, less ring than the other and just some light corner wear. The vinyl also slights some very light scuffing when held at an angle, but really plays more like EX, just a very light tick in a couple of places, and very soft even then, quite nice overall. Blowin' Away, Portrait 34697, sealed copy with some breaks in the shrink and some wear in two of the corners where shrink didn't hold, VG+ cover but still sealed with brand new vinyl. Finally is "Noel," Vanguard VSD-79230 from 1966, Tan Label press. The jacket is stellar other than a couple on tiny hairline creases you can just make out under the shrink and a hint of weakness in the upper right corner where the shrink is open for the LP. The vinyl is strong EX both visually and in playback, only the smallest detectable imperfections, plays almost new. The original inner sleeve is included, as is an advertisement for a Joan Baez Songbook, although the ad is split along the spine of a fold, so that one piece isn't as nice as the rest.  Also includes The Joan Baez Ballad Book double LP VSD-41/42, VG+ vinyl and jacket, just a few light ticks on this one, and Diamonds and Rust, A&M SP-4528, strong VG+ vinyl and jacket, plays great.
