Description

This is the original Van Gelder-stamped mono “P”-pressing of Joe Henderson “Page One” on the New York USA labels of Blue Note BLP 4140.  The playing surface is in excellent condition, with a high luster; inaudible storage splotching and light superficial wear/scuffs, primarily on the first track of each side. The laminated New York 23 cover is bright, clean, and immaculate throughout; ¼” ding at the upper right corner; ½” ding at the lower left corner; “Review Copy” stamped at the top of the back slick.  Illustrated Blue Note inner sleeve is included.  Personnel include Kenny Dorham, McCoy Tyner, Butch Warren, and Pete La Roca.  $400.00.
