John Berry

Humble Beginnings

Vintage original longplay vinyl record album.

Scarce debut album from the future country star on a small Atlanta, Georgia label.

Sounds more folky singer-songwriter than his later more country recordings.

Tracks:
"If I Ever Do Get Famous"
"Century Center"
"The Master"
"Old John Brown"
"Song for October"
"Call Me Crazy"
"Guitar Picker"
"To Make You See"
"Miracle"
"Saturday Night"

Personnel:
John Berry - guitars and vocals
Dick Falcone - bass
Mark Ensley - drums
Perry Barton - piano, electric piano, string synthesizer and background vocals

Recorded and re-mixed at The Basement, Chamblee, GA, Summer, 1979.

Grand piano tracks recorded at Landmark Christian Church, Doraville, GA.

1979 Cloud Records CS7036 Stereo.

Condition: Plays well. Visually, vinyl ex. Jacket vg+ (slightly stubbed corner tips, a couple of edge-dings, light rubbing). See photos.
