Description
Columbia MS 2079by John Cale: The Academy in Peril. Original issue circa 1972 with die cut, gatefold cover with info sheet insert. Cover design by Andy Warhol. See his name on back cover at bottom. This is REALLY a VERY crisp, clean, beautiful copy with no rubwear and crisp corners. Bright, clean and sparkling. Shrink wrap is unbroken. There is an information insert under the shrinkwrap on the back, with title listings and 5 paragraphs of Cale appreciation. This is signed An admirerer. Perhaps Warhol is the author. This insert is folded around the cover edge, and is underneath 4 diecut windows on the front, blocking them out. The insert is not attached to the cover, nor is the title square insert underneath the shrink wrap on the front. When the cover is opened these would be loose, and likely to be lost over the course of time. Here is the complete package, intact, as designed by Andy Warhol.
