COVER: VG+
RECORD: VG- to VG
NOTES: VAN GELDER in dead wax of both sides. Side 1 is visual VG- with a couple thin scratches but still plays quite decent. Side 2 is visual strong VG and plays well. I should hype the cover a bit as very sharp looking with hardly any shelf wear on front and no seam splits.
GRADES: SEALED, NM, EXC, VG+, VG, VG-, G, FAIR, POOR.
I grade strictly under bright light. My highest grade for an unsealed record is NM (NEAR MINT) - a record must look like new to be graded NM! An EXC record will show only slight signs of prior play. A VG+ is a solid used record that should play well but has minor visual flaws. A VG has more obvious flaws BUT is not trashed. Records graded VG- or worse will often play much better than they look.
