Description
CONDITION (COVER/RECORD): VG+/VG (strong)
NOTES: Original Mono pressing with white fan label. Front cover is amazingly clean. There is a tiny bit of wear to upper left corner. There is a small 3/4 inch clip to bottom right corner that is barely visible from the front, but slightly more noticeable on back cover (not sure what this is - does not appear to be a cutout). Back cover has light shelf wear. Seams are strong with no splits. Side 1 of record play grades at very strong VG+. There is slight surface noise at lead-in of 1st (title) track which fades quickly. 2nd track has small hairline not affecting play - this is a quiet song and it plays beautifully. First track of Side 2 (Summertime) has more surface noise than other tracks, but it fades away halfway through and is not too distracting - overall, this is the only track that play grades as VG. Final track has small hairline not affecting play. A very enjoyable listen overall with great fidelity.
GRADES I USE: SEALED, NM, EXC, VG+, VG, VG-, G, FAIR, POOR. I GRADE STRICTLY UNDER BRIGHT LIGHT. MY HIGHEST GRADE FOR AN UNSEALED RECORD IS NM (NEAR MINT) - A RECORD MUST LOOK LIKE NEW TO BE GRADED NM! AN EXC RECORD WILL SHOW ONLY SLIGHT SIGNS OF PRIOR PLAY. A VG+ IS A SOLID USED RECORD WITH MINOR VISUAL FLAWS THAT SHOULD PLAY WELL. A VG HAS MORE OBVIOUS VISUAL FLAWS BUT IS NOT TRASHED LIKE SOME SELLERS VG. RECORDS GRADED VG- OR WORSE WILL OFTEN PLAY MUCH BETTER THAN THEY LOOK.
