Description

Quadraphonic version of the Imagine LP, the CBS SQ quadsystem. Time to part with this treasured item, no idea why I hung on to it forso long, it’s been 25 years since I either played it or had a quadraphonicsystem! Nostalgia, I guess, but I have to downsize.

Of course it has been played, but only ever on my high qualityhi-fi system, tracked with a Shure V15 cartridge at under 1gm (many of thetracks have not been played all that much, I never rated a lot of them to behonest, but I don’t want to cause offence!) Always stored upright in a specialLP holder and never mishandled. No surface scratches, I am not ashamed tophotograph the surface close to (though don’t mistake the reflections of thetrees outside!)

Good condition cover with poster insert which has remainedthroughout its life in the sleeve - remarkably, the folds have NOT torn in anyway - see photo (the apparent line at the top of the picture, above Lennon, is NOTa crease but part of the image). Also there appears to be a photograph whichI’d forgotten about (John with someone else, I’m sure all the jokes have beendone!)

Of course, it’s stereo compatible, and doesn’t need aspecial stylus. (To reproduce it in quad, you should theoretically need an SQdecoder/amplifier, though Dolby surround AV amps do pretty much the same inpractical terms.)

Enjoy a piece of memorabilia. Those were some heady days!

Will be well packaged for dispatch.
