Description

John Lennon “Plastic Ono Band” 1970 1st Winchester Edition. Apple SW 3372 EX!

Vintage 1970 first run of John Lennon’s debut solo album. The vinyl look great, with no discernible marks. The cover has a little shelf wear, but no losses. The white paper inner sleeve with black printed lyrics and credits is intact with no splits, slightly yellowed with age. Overall, a remarkable 52+ year old copy of this cornerstone album.

The album was written and produced post primal therapy for John, and the songs have a self-revelatory and trauma releasing themes. Songs like “Mother”, “Working Class Hero”, “Well, Well, Well” and “God” remain relevant and have emotional meaning for millions who were there at the time, or subsequently understood the Beatles oeuvre. If collecting and playing vinyl records, then this Lp must be in your collection.

Photos are of actual copy for sale.
