Joni Mitchell - BLUE (1971) Vinyl LP UK Press K44128 Gatefold Textured Slve RARE
Nice Condition for its 50 years of age - Textured Gatefold Sleeve looks in great shape, just faint scuff mark on rear side. The vinyl is in excellent condition. Still a great listen. Plain white inner sleeve. (EX/EX)
Checking with Discogs. This is probably a 1972 pressing. Other main identifiers are similar to the 1st press:
- This issue has dark blue hessian textured gatefold sleeve.
- Tan riverboat reprise labels without a small WB logo in perimeter text at right.
- This release differs from the other two K44128 releases; one of which has 'Made In The UK' above the '33 RPM' text. The other has 'Made In The UK' below the '33 RPM' text.
- This release does not have 'Made In The UK' on the label at all.
I use Record Collector's Grading System
M = MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint. ------------------------------------------------------------ Ex = EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. ------------------------------------------------------------ VG = VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
