Josephine Baker marked the twentieth century, as much by it's political commitment as by it's musical work. Diggers Factory, in collaboration with INA, publishes for the first time in vinyl it's mythical concerts recorded between 1944 and 1953. Esto Es Felicidad / Two Loves Have I: 'The Voice of America: Joséphine Baker Day in Harlem', a Pierre Crénesse show recorded at the Golden Gate Ballroom on May 20, 1951, at the NAACP's Josephine Baker Day (national association for the promotion of people of color). With Buck Clayton on trumpet (Esto Es Felicidad). A Weekend In Havana / Les Amours de Vacances / Anoche Hable Con La Luna / Brazil: 'In the field of stars', a Maurice Baptissard show, recordings from May 18 to 25, 1948. Angelitos Negros / Bahiana / Dance, Ballerina, Dance / Estoy Enamorado / José Carioca / Midnight / Pecadora / Se Va El Caimán: Songs recorded in 1948 or 1949 for the program 'A quarter of an hour with Joséphine Baker'.
