One of the RAREST k.d. lang records around!! AND the ONLY record or CD (to date) that has JOHNNY GET ANGRY on it!!!

This UK 1988 k.d.lang 12" single is possibly one of the rarest k.d. records you can own. In the "RECORD COLLECTOR, RARE RECORDS PRICE GUIDE" book for 1997/98(the year I acquired the record), this record was valued at £50 GBP, and that was 7 years ago!! This is the kind of record that will retain its value and probably gain in value too.

A NOTE ABOUT THE SCAN: I had to scan the sleeve in two parts and join them. Any line you see down the middle does NOT appear on the actual sleeve.

The 12" Single has THREE tracks.

  • OUR DAY WILL COME (from the Motion Picture "SHAG" soundtrack)
  • THREE CIGARETTES IN AN ASHTRAY
  • JOHNNY GET ANGRY (Recorded live at The Town & Country Club on 17 June 1988)

The only other place you can hear/see k.d. performing JOHNNY GET ANGRY is on her "Harvest Of Seven Years" video from the early 1990's. It's an incredible song to hear her sing...throwing her voice to all octaves!! This is a true collectors item and deserves to go to a good home!
