1969 uk Island Pink Rim ILPS. 9111 (A-2 - B-2). Here is a excellent early uk A2-B2 textured pink rim label second pressing of King Crimson's essential 1969 debut prog rock album, this copy comes with the earliest gatefold cover printed by 'E J. The thick stereo vinyl is in excellent clean condition, there are no nasty marks or scratches at all, there are just some very fine top surface hairlines that are mainly only visible in harsher bright light, both sides play and sound mostly excellent, there is just some light hiss/crackle during 'Moonchild' and also in a few of the quieter moments, there really are no nasty deep marks or scratches so there are no overly loud clicks or pops. The textured Pink Rim Island labels are in excellent clean condition with no marks. The original 'E J. Day' matt gatefold sleeve is in very good condition, the front and back has some light storage wear, there is also a very small sticker mark near the front top right opening edge, the inside gatefold is nice and clean with some extremely light traces of wear and also a small amount of very light creasing to the right side. The edges and spine have quite a lot of noticeable shelf wear, there is a very small area that has worn through at the top back edge, the spine text can still just about be read. The original polydor poly-lined inner sleeve is in very good+ condition.

The recorded post option is always there, it may cost a few extra pounds for international buyers, but it is definitely worth it for the extra piece of mind.
