KLEMPERER/Philharmonia.
Brahms Symphony No.4. in E Minor


Columbia stereo (SAX 2350) First blue/silver label. Vinyl is visually excellent, with one or two very light NSMs. The labels are clean, bright and unmarked. Spindle holes are sharp-edged and tight, and have no marks around them. Listening shows that the surface is not silent, particularly the 1st. 10mm on each side. I suspect that a proper clean on a professional machine would go some way to remedying this. The sleeve is ex. minus. It has no tears, splits or knocks, but there is a strip of tape residue to the back opening edge, and light ringwear.
