Description
UK music and other magazines, featuring Kate Bush on cover and containing interviews/articles with photos. Many run to several pages, most are full colour. All magazines in excellent condition unless otherwise stated. As all are complete, they give interesting context to what else was happening on the music scene at the time of publication.
I'm a Kate Bush fan since 1978, and am selling on many of the Kate related music magazines I've collected over the years as I no longer have room for them. The magazines are all in excellent condition, and complete unless otherwise stated. Details below:
Electronics & Music Maker Issue October 1982 Kate on cover, 4-page interview about The Dreaming album, includes colour photos. Also features potted biography, and 6-page sheet music for The Dreaming (song), with small hand drawn cartoons of 'squealing cars' and full page black and white photos of Kate behind the notation. Please note that a small picture has been clipped from the contents page. Otherwise complete.
Electronic Soundmaker & Computer Music Issue October 1983 Kate on cover, plus Kate talks about acquiring and using her Fairlight CMI as part of a larger article about synthesisers. Includes large black and white photo of Kate with the instrument, her part of the feature runs to 1.5 pages.
Time Out Issue November 10 - 17 1993 Kate on cover, featuring 3-page full colour interview, with photos. Kate talks about The Red Shoes album and promo film The Line The Cross And The Curve. Slightly off beat style feature. Small colour photo of Lindsay Kemp from TLTCATC. (Apologies for camera flash on cover, the cover is in superb condition as is the rest of the magazine).
Telegraph magazine Issue 6 July 1980 A very hard to find interview. Kate on cover, plus 2-page interview with colour photos of Kate in dancing and recording studios. This magazine is a little tatty and yellowed with age, but complete. The first 2 pages of the feature have a strip of Sellotape joining the page and a half, full colour photo of Kate to the start of the interview.
Will be posted by Royal Mail 2nd Class Signed For in protective packaging, multiple purchases will be boxed and postal discount made where applicable. I have had to add postage costs or I'd be giving these away free. Still good value per item and cheaper than others on eBay.
