Description
KENNY CLARKE - BOHEMIA AFTER DARK, Savoy MG-12017, red label, deep groove pressing, RVG in dead wax.
On this 1955 recording, the musicians are Nat Adderley (cornet), Donald Byrd (trumpet), Cannonball Adderley (alto sax), Jerome Richardson (tenor sax & flute), Horace Silver (piano), Paul Chambers (bass), Kenny Clarke (drums). This is the very first recording by the Adderley brothers.
The tunes are Bohemia After Dark, Chasm, Willow Weep For Me, Late Entry, Hear Me Talkin' To Ya, With Apologies to Oscar, We'll Be Together Again.
Condition of record is E-, no scuffs, no scratches, a few spindle marks, plays clean and quiet. Jacket shows some overall wear, no seam splits. 2 inch water stain on back.
