Description
Kevin Ayers – Whatevershebringswesing
Kevin Ayers embarked on recording his most highly-regarded album, "Whatevershebringswesing," in 1971. Accompanied by members of Gong and his previous backing band, The Whole World, the album earned praise from notable publications such as NME, Record Mirror, and Rolling Stone. This album brought Ayers' musical aspirations to life, which he had held since Soft Machine's inception.
As is typical of Ayers' albums, a collision of diverse musical styles confronts the listener, but in this instance, they blend together powerfully. The title track, featuring Mike Oldfield's guitar accompaniment and Robert Wyatt's haunting harmonies, became a blueprint for Ayers' subsequent output throughout the 1970s.

An amazing copy of this sought after recording
Some splatter marks to front of cover, I may be able to take further pictures to highlight them. The marks are not obtrusive, but they are visible with some scrutiny.

I will give this an ultrasonic clean before shipping.

I use the Record Collector's grading system giving separate condition ratings for the Vinyl and Sleeve as follows:
Near Mint (NM) - A nearly perfect record. Has more than likely been played few times or not at all, and the vinyl will show no imperfections during playback. Sleeve will have no more than the most minor defects. The same is true of any other inserts, such as posters, lyric sleeves, etc.
Excellent (EX) -The record shows some signs of having been played but there is very little lessening in sound quality. Sleeve may have slight wear or creasing
Very Good (VG) - The record has obviously been played many times but displays no major deterioration in sound quality despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Sleeve, normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable
Good (GD) - The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. Sleeve suffers from folding, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
