RARE JOE MEEK Percy Evanston (Geoff Goddard) – Don´t You Make My Baby Cry M- LISTEN
All 45s are from my own collection. They are on their original labels. I only sell original releases from the late 50s and early 60s, no reissues or repros.
I´m a collector of rare 45s, too, so expect my service and my grading to be honest and correct.
Artist: Percy Evanston (= Geoff Goddard)
Titles: “Don´t You Make My Baby Cry” b/w Rick Sheldon – “All Mine”
Label: SOUTHERN SOUND 117
Condition: Record M-
This record is one of the rarest Joe Meek / RGM releases. Only officially released in the US as D.J. Special, it´s Geoff Goddard singing one of the finest and most catchy Joe Meek songs. This record turns up very seldom and my copy is pristine. I have a reserve on this record because the value of this record especially in such great condition is high and I will only sell it for the right price. The flip side of this record contains US artist Rick Sheldon with his fantastic TEEN song “All Mine” which sounds very similar to his “Why does my baby cry”. This side is not a Joe Meek production although it sounds quite similar. These two outstanding sides make this record a real MUST-HAVE for every serious Teen and Joe Meek collector.
All 45s are visually graded for the vinyl.
Listen to this 45.
