Essendo la trama del film incentrata sull'infelice amore tra la principessa Anna Esterhazy e Franz Schubert, i brani presenti nell'album sono fortemente ispirati alla musica del compositore Viennese e a tradizionali temi Ungheresi. Suggestive, romantiche e malinconiche atmosfere sono alternate da allegri balli popolari e da motivi tradizionali Austroungarici del 18° e primi anni del 19° secolo. Il tutto magistralmente eseguito dall'orchestra sinfonica. Il motivo folk " CORO DELLE LAVANDAIE " è cantato in Italiano da un coro femminile. 16 brani

Notes : music and orchestra Francesco Angelo Lavagnino. One of his best soundtracks. Being the film plot based on the unhappy love between the princess Anna Esterhazy and Franz Schubert, the score is strongly inspired by the music of the Viennese composer and by Hungarian traditional themes. Evocative, romantic and melancholy atmospheres alternated by blithe popular dances and traditional Austro-Hungarian melodies of eighteenth and early nineteenth century are masterfully performed by the symphonic orchestra. The folk song " CORO DELLE LAVANDAIE " is sung by a female chorus in Italian. 16 tracks.

Un modesto "remake" di " LEISE FLEHEN MEINE LIEDER " noto anche come " LOVER DIVINE ", un dramma romantico diretto da Willi Forst (1933). Produzione Italiana e regia di Ettore Maria Fizzarotti. Con Al Bano, Romina Power, Agostina Belli, Paul Muller, Cinzia De Carolis.
