Notes : music and orchestra Francesco Angelo Lavagnino. One of the best masterpieces by Lavagnino ! Being the film plot based on the unhappy love between the princess Anna Esterhazy and Franz Schubert, the score is strongly inspired by the music of the Viennese composer and by Hungarian traditional themes. Wonderful romantic and melancholy atmospheres alternated by happy popular dances and traditional themes are masterfully performed by the symphonic orchestra. The folk-song " CORO DELLE LAVANDAIE " is sung by a female chorus in Italian. My highest recommendation !!! 16 tracks.

An Italian remake of " LEISE FLEHEN MEINE LIEDER " aka " LOVER DIVINE " by Willi Forst (1933); a romace concerning an unsuccessful falling in love of Franz Schubert, starring Al Bano, Romina Power, Agostina Belli, Paul Muller, Cinzia De Carolisa, directed by Ettore Maria Fizzarotti.
