Description

LED ZEPPELIN III first PRESS 1970

Original vinyl on UK first press Atlantic

Includes the label error crediting Peter Grant as executive producer, an error spotted and corrected almost immediately.

A5/B5 matricies - the earliest you can find for this lp, with the famous 'So mote it be' quotes in the dead wax.

Clean labels, initials to one side, and original October 1970 inner, a rare find.

Surface marks, with some crackle which gets louder in the quieter passages eg Gallows Pole, start of Tangerine. A few clicks, especially at the start of Since I've Been Loving You.

No skips or jumps.

The sleeve is the 'Printed in the USA' variant with slightly different lettering to the front. Great, fully working wheel solid in and out of the gatefold. Light browning and slight loss to front. See photos which form part of the description.

See another plum Led Zep III with Celebration error, plum Led Zep I with silver streak cover and plum Led Zep II with Lemon Song error in my other items. Good luck!

Lots of great Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, Nirvana first press vinyl in my other items.

Tracked and insured postage Europe £16, USA £22 (new rates)

US may have customs charge.
