2401-002 mis-print label
1970
Nice early 1970 pressing on plum/red Atlantic label with rotating wheel gatefold cover. A5 B5 Matrix. After the early pressings with peter Grant credit but with the 'Celebration' misprint label. Do what thou wilt & so mote it be A5 B5 matrix.
The best price on Ebay for a buy it now plum label equivalent of this specific pressing.
Notes This disc has first pressing matrix numbers A5/B5 on but is pressed on the second generation Red/Maroon label design with 2401-002 at 2 O'clock. The credit at the bottom of the label states 'Produced by Jimmy Page' in bold, centred above is "Warner Bros. Music". Misprint label: Celebration Day wrongly listed on B3 as 'Celebration'. Fully-laminated gatefold sleeve with working wheel, printed and made in England by E. J. Day, retaining Executive Producer: Peter Grant (which is removed from the labels on this pressing).
Vinyl - VG+ clean, bright with a number of fine superficial marks that appear in slanting light under close observation. Light thumbnail mark on B4. Plays very well.
Sleeve - VG+ Minimal yellowing of white cover. Well handled and scuffing and small marks visible on close observation. Superficial scratch across rear towards Pages chin (see image). A few light crinkles on rear in lamination.

Almost mint but has one or two minor visible marks on the cover/sleeve or surface with sound quality remaining perfect.

Not quite perfect. There may a slight chance of minor deterioration in sound quality. The cover/sleeve may show slight wear.

Very Good
The surface and cover/sleeve shows visible signs of wear due to the fact that it has been played on a regular basis. There will be some audible surface noise but it will not effect the listening experience.

Good
The sound quality has deteriorated due to having been played often. The cover/sleeve and surface will show considerable signs of wear and tear with some possible damage.
F
Fair
Has been neglected, but is still playable. There will be major audible defects such as loud clicks or jumping. The cover/sleeve maybe badly damaged.

Technically playable, but with serious deterioration in condition and sound quality. The cover/sleeve will be badly damaged.
