Description

This is a UK 1971 original of Led Zeppelin's "Led Zeppelin IV".

Plum Label with FOUR SYMBOLS and LED ZEPPELIN credits at the TOP (pictured)
Atlantic Plum Label Catalogue Number 2401012 - A3/B4 matrix (1st Pressing).

The gatefold sleeve is EX to NEAR MINT as you can see from the photos - really clean and crisp despite its 42 years.
The Inner Lyric Sleeve has the fold-over flap (originals have this ) and apart from some minor creases is EX.
The bottom of the inner sleeve IS cut by the album - as so many were - for about half of its diameter - but not so that you'd notice too much
The LP itself is NEAR MINT On Side 1 (incredibly clean - no marks - little spindle wear) but Side 2 has a scuff/scratch on the last two tracks so I'd grade it EX (again little spindle wear)
Played it - sounds fabulous - but is of course guaranteed should it give trouble on your system.

Zep IV is a common record - but UK originals in great condition like this are not.

The album has been professionally cleaned and dried on a LORICRAFT AUDIO PR6 cleaning machine and put in Poly-lined inner bag.
This record doesn't just 'look' clean - it 'plays' clean - and there's a huge difference. It sounds unbelievable compared to a CD.
There's a reason why Zeppelin plum labels are so sought after - the British pressings are glorious - they really are.
Proper 12" mailer and double stiffeners used - professional collector and dealer.
