Description
This promotional 7 inch single of LED ZEPPELIN's "Stairway to Heaven" was sent to an FM radio station in 1972. This station was spinning the whole album so the single never got played. It was filed away. The station never even marked the album with their station IDs. No station markings on it at all! Both sides have the same 7:55 minute long recording of the song. The record has a few specks of dust on it after all these years. The vinyl and label are in superb condition. The original Atlantic Records sleeve is still in great shape. It has yellowed a bit (see photo). You won't find this particular record in this pristine condition very often. I worked for that radio station and have had this record stashed away for many years.

Please note that I have been informed by a knowledgeable source that this record was actually issued in 1977 and that it was not issued in 1972 (the date on the label). 1972 was the copyright date. I apologize for this error in the original description. I started working at the radio station in 1979 and assumed that this record was issued in 1972.
