From my own pristine Nr Mint collection of rare 1960's & 70's Prog/Psych/Rock & Folk, you are bidding on one of the most sought -after UK 1st pressings of all time; the mega-scarce 'Led Zeppelin 1' the debut  album from the mighty Led Zeppelin. However what makes this example so rare and sought-after is that it is the true ORIGINAL 1969 Earliest UK 1st Pressing with Turquoise Sleeve Text, A1//B1 Matrix & Plum/Red Labels with Superhype Credit - that's right it is the ultimate UK Turquoise-lettered 1st Pressing of their 1st album (only the very first batch had these features; all later UK pressings had orange sleeve text and 'Warner' credits on the labels)!!! What's more, it is in stunning Nr Mint/Ex condition throughout! - the best I have ever seen!! The cool 1960's thick and chunky vinyl is in visually and aurally stunning condition and shines with that 'just pressed'  glass-like sheen, it really looks as if this record came off the press yesterday!!! This record has gained legendary status over the years with collectors and in quite rightly regarded as the rarest UK pressed Led Zeppelin album in existence!!! This LP is in absolutely pristine condition throughout!!! The vinyl has a beautiful unblemished glass-like sheen - it really is that rarest of things; a true Nr Mint 1st press 'Superhype' Led Zeppelin 1!!! The Classic Plum/Red 1st Pressing centre labels with the all important 'Superhype Credits' are also in Nr. Mint condition!!! They have NO Tears, NO Peeling, NO Scribbles and NO unwanted writing of any kind!!! They have just the faintest light trace of a solitary spindle line on each side and an occasional very light (almost invisible) dusty age spot; invisible in all but the strongest light. All in all these labels are fantastic, this record looks as if it has only been played once ever!!! The gramophone rims containing the all important matrix's are also mint!!! As described above - the vinyl itself is in Stunning condition!!! NO Scratches, No scuffing, NO Groovewear, NO warping, in fact - NO blemishes of any kind!!! This vinyl is Nr Mint - as simple as that!!! I am very pleased to state that plays as good as it looks with NO Pops, NO Jumps, NO Skips and NO hissing!!! I have to keep reminding myself that I am describing a 36 year old record here, not one made last week!!! I can say nothing else about this chunky 1st press record - it's perfect!!! What can I say about the the classic laminated MacNeil UK 1st Press Turquoise-lettered sleeve that you don't already know!!!! These do just not turn up anymore, and on the rare occasions that they do, it is NEVER in this condition, they are usually battered, worn, ripped, torn and quite often scribbled on. This one is not - it does not even have any seam wear!!!! As with the vinyl - it is also in PRISTINE beautiful condition with NO Tears, NO Scribbles and NO unwanted writing or scribbles!!! There are NO Seam Splits or seam wear, NO feathering of the opening edge - it is probably one of the best left in existence today!!!!  It is completely blemish free!!! The sleeve lies perfectly FLAT with virtually NONE OF THE RING WEAR which is commonly associated with this very rare sleeve!!!! It has a good strong spine with just the very occasional and very minor laminate crease and lift coming in from it. It has NO laminate cracking ANYWHERE on the sleeve!!!!! The laminate really is beautifully preserved, very rare for this sleeve!!!  The reverse side is beautiful with NO Tears, NO Scribbles and NO unwanted writing, again it has the most minor lifting partway down the spine (1-2cm width) but NO cracks or folds!!! I am being very fussy here, but want to describe this important sleeve in as much detail as possible. It's as simple as that - this is the best Turquoise Led Zeppelin 1 sleeve you will probably EVER come across. Of course this rare LP comes with its Original and correct Atlantic 'Made in England' & 'British Patent' poly-lined windowed inner sleeve! This is also Nr Mint, with NO creases, NO seam splits, Perfect sharp corners and poly inner lining still firmly attached!!! This is seen by many as one of the best rock records ever made -  and one of the greatest debuts of all time!!! Finally a word of warning - This is a TRUE 1st press Turquoise Lettered Led Zep 1 UK 1st Press!!!! But beware of sellers trying to sell you a Turquoise Led Zep 1 with discs that DO NOT contain the Superhype credit!!!! They are NOT the original discs - all true 1st press discs that came with the Turquoise sleeve MUST have the 'Superhype Credit'!!! There has been much mixing and matching of unscratched non-superhype plum/red discs to turquoise sleeves to try and increase the overall condition of the record. Do not be fooled  - always ask about the Superhype credit on the label. If you are lucky enough to win this auction you will be receiving a TRUE Nr Mint/Ex++ 1st Press Turquoise Led Zeppelin 1 with is ORIGINAL Nr Mint Superhype-credited Vinyl!!!!!

Postage ... Hazey Jane has absolutely NO hidden surcharges; the price you win is the price you pay, just add the relevant postage, it's as simple as that! We will only ship to non-UK countries via Airmail - we do not use surface mail, it is way too slow and thus increases the risk of records being damaged during transit.

A little note about insurance - Please read carefully... If the value of your record(s) is over £30, your invoice will include an insured option. Being the responsible adults you are, it is entirely up to you to take this up  - we strongly advise you to do this but will not hassle you about it. We strictly adhere to it and will only offer refunds (minus the postage AND our eBay costs) if we are satisfied that we have fallen below UK record collector grading standards.
