Description
Led Zeppelin III Vinyl red plum labels
With Extremely rare test print sleeve without song titles and credits on inner of gatefold sleeve (see pics) and Peter Grant credit on labels.
My husband says he has only seen 6 of these covers in all the years he has been collecting and bought another off ebay about 2 weeks ago but had a seem split.
One of his friends used to work at a cover printers over 25 years ago and he told him they normally printed between 40 and 60 to check for gluing / inking and other issues prior to the release print, so these covers do not normally appear on releases unless by mistake or for press / photo advertising prior to general release.
So if you have one your one of the very few.
so mote it be and do what thou wilt etched in Deadwax / Run-off
