LED ZEPPELIN lll
1970 UK PLUM/RED ATLANTIC 2401-002
RARE, VERY EARLY A5 & B5 PRESSING.
This is superb original UK PLUM/RED issue in NEAR MINT playing condition, The vinyl is in amazingly clean and glossy EXCELLENT++ condition and the fully laminated E.J.Day gatefold sleeve is also in EXCELLENT++ condition. This early original UK Led Zeppelin album has been barely played at all, this is true because I purchased it myself in 1970.
This brilliant original copy of Led Zeppelin lll has obviously only ever had just a few careful plays in some 36+ years, both sides are amazingly clean and very glossy and look brand new, I have not played it for a couple of years as I have had no turntable but the sound quality was extremely clean and clear the last time. I have always looked after records with great care.
PLUM/RED ATLANTIC LABELS = MINT-
The record label on side one has track 3 listed as ''Celebration'', whilst on the sleeve it is listed as "Celebration Day"
This is "Very Rare"
Both Plum/Red Atlantic labels are defect free and are in new condition, you really do have to look very hard around the spindle hole to find any traces of play , as mentioned before this vinyl has obviously only ever had just a few very careful plays since being pressed way back in 1970.
E.J.DAY FULLY LAMINATED GATEFOLD SLEEVE
The fully laminated gatefold sleeve is made in the UK by E.J.Day and is also in superb very clean and tidy condition, there is no storage/edge or spine wear to mention and all edges and spine are straight and true and are just about perfect, there is minor age discoloration of some of the white edges, surprisingly there are no lamination creases or shifts at all, nearly all original issues of this thickly laminated gatefold sleeve have some unsightly looking lamination folds/creases or lines but this brilliant original E.J.Day sleeve has none at all and simply looks amazing, the rotating wheel is still very firmly fixed and works perfectly well making this a really brilliant example that like the vinyl will not disappoint in any way.
The poly-lined inner sleeve is the original and is in excellent+ very clean condition.
All in all this is a stunning example that looks, plays and sounds brilliant, a top collectors copy that would be very difficult to beat.
