Hi, my name is Tommy and I’ve been collecting records for many, many years now. I’ve taken the hard decision to sell off some of my collection due to it being to large and taking up too much room. So please look at my other listings, regrettable they’ve got to go. All my records are stored in protective plastic sleeves, standing upright with no pressure on them. Will be listing many more over the next few months..:(
Listed here is a RARE album by Led Zeppelin titled Led Zeppelin III. This is a UK 1st Original Pressing on Atlantic Deluxe 2401 002. This Stereo pressing is on the collectable RED/MAROON label. This gatefold sleeve has the rotating wheel and “Do what thou wilt” in the run-off groove. This record is becoming harder and harder to find. And what makes this even RARER is that it’s in great condition. Also has the early matrix numbers.
Matrix numbers: 2401002 A-5 / 2401002 B-5
RECORD - Both sides of the album are in EX- condition. There is some minor background noise/static most noticeable between the tracks and on the run-ins. NO skips, NO Jumps, there are a couple of light pops, couple of hairline scratches that DON’T effect play, apart from one tiny one that does cause a few clicks, these are very quiet and don't really effect the listening enjoyment.
SLEEVE - The Laminated gatefold sleeve is in Near Mint condition. NO spine wear and NO edge wear, NO rips, NO Tears, NO splits. NO ring wear, NO Writing. Tiny amount of creasing, NO marks. Still has a lovely shine to it (see photo)
Original inner EX+ condition, and Labels VG condition. Some very minor spindle marks. And small name written on the labels (see photo, as you can see not very noticeable).
