L’INFONIE 1st LP Avant Garde Psych Jazz Contemporary EX
I just acquired a huge collection of Canadian records. Many rarities are part of this find, books and magazines too. I will need a few months to go through them to see what I have. Let’s start with some of them.
L’Infonie is a multi-media ensemble whose repertoire is a mixture of classical, contemporary and avant-garde music, in a project of musical symbiosis. Honestly, the group, which numbered as many as 22 musicians, wasn’t hippie wannabes. They were real freaky hippies in the woods! They performed throughout Quebec and Canada. This album is their first and was recorded at Andre Perry studio.
