Powerpop and new wave compilation of Rhode Island bands from the Providence-based club the Living Room. Quite a few of the bands here have their own 45s of note to punk/new wave collectors (Schemers, Probers, Big World, Ed Tabela, Hi-Beams, Gary Shane, Parallel 5th), and all tracks are exclusive to this LP. Big World, Mike Viola Alliance and the Detectives all turn in particularly strong powerpop/punk cuts. However, the standout track is by the Threats, who sadly never released any other wax besides this lone contribution. Too bad, since it's a great energetic powerpop/punk hybrid. So if you want this track in your record collection, here's your chance.

Condition: VG+/M (sleeve/vinyl)
Record is unplayed mint condition, as this copy was still sealed until I took off the shrinkwrap (it was dirty and dusty).
M (mint) is reserved for unplayed, flawless stock copies. M- (mint minus) is the highest grade for a record in beautiful shape. EX (excellent) means there's a minor flaw on the sleeve (small crease, price sticker) or disc (fingerprint, harmless scratch). VG+ (very good plus) means a sleeve has minor shop wear — is creased and/or shows a ring impression, and the disc shows cosmetic signs of handling. VG (very good) means not for the anal-retentive. The sleeve shows multiple flaws (sticker tear, seam split, ring wear, rumpled top) and the disc has surface noise (no skips or thunderous pops) and multiple small scratches. VG- (very good minus) means the sleeve is "well loved" with numerous flaws while the vinyl is exhibits many flaws and is noisy. G (good) means the sleeve contains major flaws such as large tears, heavy staining, etc., while the vinyl is beat but playable with no skips. POSTAGE & PAYMENT U.S. shipping: First class postage for 7-inches is $2.50 for up to two records, and 50 cents each additional 45. LPs are $3.50 media mail / $6.00 first class, and 50 cents each additional LP. For Canadian rates, add $1. Non-U.S. shipping: Airmail postage is $6 for one 45 and $1 each additional 45.
