Record: SIDE ONE: VG++ (light sleeve scuffs, light finger print. Several light spindle marks on the label.)
Record: SIDE TWO: VG++ (light sleeve scuffs, and several non-audible, very light scratches. Several light spindle marks on the label.)
Played just a few times. Another quality Sydney J. Wakefield pressing.
Cover: VG++ [no split seams (small 1/8" spot of paper missing on bottom seam), no ring wear (small area of light scuff at bottom front), no cover tears, no writing, very light corner bump, lower left corner, several very small dings on cover slick at opening.] Overall beautiful cover.
NOTES:.....Rockabilly collectors will recognize Long John Roller from "Long John's Flagpole Rock" fame. Waylon Jennings does a killer version of "Rave On" that is only available here. You hear Waylon, and several other artists, talking with Roller in between the tracks. If you collect Walon Jennings you should have this album in your collection. Rarely shows up for sale on eBay. Also included in this disc are rare tracks by Donnie Owens and Don Rollins. Rollins wrote "The Race Is On" and "The Other Woman," two country classics. In another Waylon connection, his one time bass player Jimmy Gray is featured on a track also! Note for AZ. trivia buffs: This package contains the third version of the song "My World," that was covered by both Waylon and Donnie Owens on Ramco Records! Country for sure, this is a super nice package of Arizona singers from the mid 60's. Even Bozo Darnell has a song on this album.
