STEAM PACKET (longboatment) "viva l?amour/ " troble and tea" (swedish polydor nh 59733 1967)
Originally called themselves Steam packet, they had to change their name to avoid mix-up with Rod's , Julie's... Steampacket and they re-named as Longboatmen but they kept their original name in their swedish releases. What we find here is a storming Manfred mann's cover much harder than the original ( and of course far rarer than that) with a really apotheosic end. A true rare record with one of my Manfred's favourite tunes.
