Description
I am selling 168 shows of the Lost Lennon Tapes on original vinyl. The shows are #88-05 to #91-13 inclusive (except for #90-10, which is missing). The set also includes the special Lost Lennon Tapes 90 minutes special "They Say It's Your Birthday", which I have NEVER seen for sale on ebay. The other great thing about these shows is that most include a banded promo at the end of the show. Many people have never even heard these promos since they rarely aired on radio stations.
The vinyl is all in excellent condition (These records have not been played since the shows aired in the early 90's).
The jackets are all original (except for 5 episodes which have missing jackets). I have rated 30% of the jackets in excellent condition. 52% are in very good condition (lower rating due to the fact that they have the air date written on the jacket). 15% are in good condition (lower rating due to some jacket wear). 3% are missing the jacket.
Most episodes have the original cue sheets with them, however these were marked up by the DJs who aired the program.
Each episode is ~60 minutes long and includes many rare, live and demo versions of Beatles and John Lennon songs. This is literarly a collector's dream come true. Individual episodes go for $10 to $50 on ebay, but you never see a lot like this for sale! Email me with any questions. Buyer pays actual shipping which will be determined at the end of auction.
As a bonus, I will add a rare vinyl promo copy of "Working Class Hero" the John Lennon tribute album with Lennon songs by artists like the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Blues Traveler, Cheap Trick and others. I will also add vinyl copies of the Beatles 1962-1966 (the Red Album) and 1967-1970 (the Blue Album). And as a final bonus, you'll get a vinyl copy of U2's "Rattle and Hum" double LP.
