LOU DONALDSON Lou Takes Off (EX/EX) Vinyl LP
Record label/brand: Blue Note BLP 1591 upc/mpn: None year: 1957
Mono Blue Note classic with 47 West 63rd label. Deep Groove... RVG and "ear" machine stamped.
Sleeve is in EX (excellent) condition. Font cover is very nice... some very slight wear. Two right corners have a tiny bit of blunting. Front is glossy with a nice shine and back is clean with *very* slight ring wear showing at the very top. Spine is straight. Vinyl is in EX condition. A few visual scuffs. Plays beautifully.

Review: This was Lou's third album for Blue Note in 1957, the other two being Wailing With Lou and Swing and Soul. A great hard bop outing with a bit of straight bebop that comes highly recommended.
