This is the first copy I have ever had and am not sure of its authenticity, so you can get a bargain as I have knocked the price way down....But will not sell for lower.

For the holidays 1963-1969, the Beatles recorded a series of unique flexi-discs (floppy records) containing specially created Christmas messages that were distributed only to members of their fan club. The ‘63 and ‘64 messages had the boys reading from a prepared script by Tony Barrow. For ‘65, they improvised their material, including an out-of-tune rendition of "Yesterday.” The discs for ‘66 and ‘67 are a series of comic sketches, with a different recurring theme song for each one. By the time the ‘68 and ‘69 discs were issued, it was clear that the boys were going in different directions, as they had separately recorded messages. After The Beatles break up in 1970, the fan club issued “The Beatles Christmas Album” containing all 7 Christmas programs together.

I have listend to the whole album and am very happy to report the audio is lovely and clear. The run-ins and outs are almost silent. There is some original light crackle/static in the far background when they talk through their wishes-I think it sounds great! It could well be from the master recording from the fans flexi discs..

NOT FOR SALE on both cover and record label.

Only has light rubbing to the edges...Would frame well.
