The Happenings Four+1 is a Japanese psychedelic/space rock band from 70' which was created when keyboardist/vocalist Shinohara Nobuhiko joined psych/pop band "The Happenings Four". Under The Happenngs Four+1 moniker they recorded one great album called "The Long Trip" (aka Hikishio Michishio) in 1971. They played mainly organ and piano oriented prog rock with evident late 60' psych influences.
Leader of the band was Kuni Kawachi, also famous from one album recorded as "Kuni Kawachi & The Flower Travellin' Band"( ). (ozzy_tom/progarchives.com)
