VINYL LP:
THE KINKS "Are The Village Green Preservation Society" (Pye NPL 18233) original UK 1968 MONO pressing
The BEST Kinks album in its most desirable format - original UK MONO PYE GATEFOLD! Matrix stampers: side A: NPL18233A-3W and side B: NPL18233B-3W. Books at £140+
CONDITION : (Sleeve/Record) VG/VG
DESCRIPTION : Record is pretty scuffed up with lots of light scratches and plays with some background crackle in quieter passages, and the odd pop and click here and there, but no jumps or sticks or nasty scratches. Like most UK PYE 60s pressings, the music is cut LOUD and the music overpowers most imperfections, and sounds great. Laminated gatefold covers shows bit of edge wear, and some lamination creasing - middle of spine has 1" seam split and small tear (see photo). Inside gatefold with flipbacks looks great. Labels have a bit of spindle wear. A good cheap way to own this classic in its original format for collectors who aren't mint freaks!
KEYWORDS : mod, psych, freakbeat, President, Vertigo swirl, Vertigo spiral, Harvest, Dawn, Blue Horizon, Neon, Deram Nova, Nepentha, psychedelic, progressive, blues etc.

In the interests of the environment, these will be recycled whenever possible. Albums will be removed from outer sleeve to avoid seam splits in transit.
