Description
Here is a fantastic opportunity to obtain Lucinda William's 1979 debut "Ramblin' On My Mind". For ages this has been extremely difficult to find and expensive until an overdue repress in 2009 brought the prices down a bit. That new version sounds fine but here is an original 1979 US-Folkways firstpress on the deep blue label with the unique heavy paste on jacket and an oversized newspaper-like lyric sheet.
Best of all: This was signed on the front by the artist herself! I don't have any certificate because this was obtained in person by a friend that collects country albums. Just check my feedback, it's not that I sell lots of signed items. In fact this is the only one.
Condition: The record was always handled with care but has several light surface marks and a visible (inaudible) scratch over track number 9. The vinyl has it's deep black shine and plays fine. Ranks as Very Good ++. The over sized lyric sheet is Very Good ++ too. The Cover has a bit of yellowing and the paste has peeled off on the spine which is not uncommon to these heavy paste on sleeves. No seamsplit and no ringwear, I guess Very Good+ describes it. The signature is fully and clearly visible and would look great on display! All in all a collectable copy of a very rare record and an investment.
