Description
Original 1973 US pressing of La Clave's self-titled album on Verve Records (V6 8819, stereo). The nine-man Latin funk outfit led by Benny Velarde, recorded in San Francisco with Lalo Schifrin on keys — includes "Sally Go 'Round the Roses," "The Ghetto," "Soul Sauce," and "Baila Mi Guaguanco."
Runout:
Side A: V6 8819 - MGS 3112 ℗1972 MGM RECORDS INC.
Side B: V6 8819 - MGS 3113 ℗1972 MGM RECORDS INC.
Condition: Cover is VG, but with two punched holes on the front — an original cut-out marking (non-returnable stock, standard industry practice for deleted titles or promo album), plus light edge wear. See close-up photo. Vinyl visually grades VG — glossy with light handling marks, clean labels; conservatively graded by sight, not play-tested. Ships in a protective sleeve.
