Description

Led Zeppelin - BBC Sessions

Superb condition 4x12" Vinyl LP boxset, this set appears to have been hardly played or handled!

Original 1997 issue (according to discogs this is identified by "Each label has 32mm diameter groove as opposed to 70mm", this set has the 32mm groove), not the 2005 release, or the later 'Complete BBC Sessions' set

All discs and inner sleeves are in mint condition (each sleeve having been protected by a plastic outer sleeve), with near mint condition insert

Only light wear to the box, except for a small bit of damage at the bottom of the back of the box (see photos) a small surface scuff

Vintage press, not a modern release!

Postage & Packing

Protective packaging is important, our packing includes:

  • Removing the record from the sleeve to avoid seam splits
  • Putting the record in a plastic sleeve to avoid sleeve wear
  • Posting in special custom record mailers
  • Cardboard stiffening is included to avoid bends

Grading

For vinyl we use the Rare Record Guide grading system detailed below:

MINT The LP or single is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items are in perfect condition.

EXCELLENT The LP or single shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD The LP or single has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and an occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover and contents without any major defects.

GOOD The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
