Description

An original 1st press of HOTH on UK Atlantic. Matrix 2/3 - [You can get 2/2's]. No mention of Warners logo and perimeter text all in southern sector of label. This is precisely what 1st label design looks like.  Well worth going for the earliest copies. They are close on to the original masters and pressed on solid vinyl. The vinyl comes housed in the original matt gatefold cover. The original textured inner is present too. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete. If you are clean audio fiend...then I would be taking a close look at this one>>>>
Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) In lovely condition and has only seen light careful use. Beautiful lustre. Check out those labels...that is what you really wanna see! Under close inspection I could barely make out a single - spotless. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are really quiet and the audio comes across with near perfect clarity. A great copy by any measure - the delivery is real clean. This allows you to sit back and marvel at this classic 70's title. Minimal signs of background. There are some incredibly lowkey slow roll-ins on these tracks. Like No Qtr, and I think most copies will slip up even after light to moderate use. You can hear well down into the mix. When you get to those super fussy tracks like No Qtr & Rain...it plays nothing short of amazing. WOW, WOW, & Thrice WOW! It's not often you witness 'No QTR' with a total clean background...that is a super hard find. The audio on this title is astonishingly good. Don't settle for a 50/50 copy - this  title deserves a really well preserved copy. It will pay dividends...FINAL UPGRADE.
Cover (Ex-) In great condition and has survived the years in much better condition than many examples. Clean surfaces and just some light evidence of handling wear. Slightest sticker removal mark top right on front [no biggy]. Opening panel nice and rigid thanks to heavy grade card. Sharp openings with slight creasing top right. Slightest edge wear in a couple of spots and the spine 95% intact. Interior spot on. Very impressive.
Inner (Vg+) No splits. Really tidy. Ageing creeping in at extremities...
