Description

Time to sell some of my record collection.  For sale is my copy of LED ZEPPELIN II -- 1969 US first pressing stereo LP with "1841 Broadway" labels in the pasted gatefold picture sleeve.  What makes this copy extra special is that the dead wax shows it to be the "hot mix" pressing done by Robert Ludwig.  The initials "RL" are etched in the dead wax on side one and stamped on side two.  The record, and I'm the original owner, still sounds as great as it did blasting from my dorm room in 1969.  My guess is that the last time I played the record was (gasp) 42 years ago.  The cover has some yellowing showing it's age and some smudges on the back cover.  The left-hand spine has some slight tearing as does the bottom of the cover (see photos).  The matrix identifications in the dead wax are ST-A-691671 followed by an "A" on side one and ST-A-691672 again followed by an "A."  I expect this indicates where the record was pressed, but am not sure. 

 

I'm pleased to offer this album to someone who appreciates the unmistakable sound quality that only vinyl produces.
