PLEASE READ CAREFULLY<<<
A genuine very 1st  press of Zep III on UK Atlantic from 1970. Matrix A5/B5. Please note the labels mention "Peter Grant" - only found on the very 1st copies. The heavy-set vinyl come housed in an original Deluxe E J Day cover with pinning wheel [fully operational]. We also have an original inner sleeve too. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex-/Vg) [Variable] In mostly very nice condition - but someone has been unkind in particular to track 1. Mostly looks in pretty decent condition. But someone has performed a couple of heavy needle drops in track 1 - so there are a couple of visible and feelable marks. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly NEAREXCELLENT level of playback, but with a few noticeable deviations on side 1. Intros and inbetweens are nice and quiet and the audio comes across with excellent clarity. By and large a real nice player when it's on song. But there is trouble in a couple of tracks. 'Friends' plays ok - but I did get a few isolated clicks. There's 4 clicks midway through SIBLY. And [most noticeably] in 'Immigrant' I got a good few clicks and a good few ticks and one brief non-repeating skip. Thankfully, it's in the loudest track on the album - so that does help a little. But it will be noticeable all the same. If you can live with the impairment in track 1 - the rest will more than deliver the goods. But you do need to be able to compromise on track 1. Side 2 - plays absolutely superb. Hardly anything to take issue with,
Cover (Ex-) Very nice clean front without much wear and only faint hint of ageing along bottom edge. The rear seems to have avoided most of the laminate creasing you normally tend to find. A touch of ageing at extremities which is difficult to avoid. The interior looks very smart - no issues. Edge wear is relatively light and the spine is fully intact. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Vg+) Light ageing. Bag present. No splits.
