DESCRIPTION: Led Zeppelin LP- Led Zeppelin III. Early UK pressing with A7/B5 matrix ("Do What Thou Wilt"/ "So Mote It Be") In laminated gatefold sleeve with fully working rotating wheel. With "Plastic Bags are Dangerous" white inner dated 1070. Packed this weighs over 500gm so overseas postage is as per a double. LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER: Atlantic DELUXE 2401 002 (cover is SD 7201) YEAR OF RELEASE: 1970 COUNTRY OF RELEASE: UK release and UK vinyl but cover is made in Germany. This is a very common feature with this pressing and this is how the record was sold to and bought by UK buyers at the time of release. CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): VG+/EX. Vinyl is very clean with a nice sheen. Tilted to the light you can see a couple of very thin light hairlines that have no effect on playback but just about prevent an EX visual grade. Played all of this tonight on my budget deck. Sits flat on the turntable. Sounds pretty much Excellent. Music is clear, clean and loud. It has an occasional soft tick during "Since Ive Been Loving You". Cover retains very nice shape. It is firm and square with only light edge wear, corner wear and creasing. Rotating wheel is still attached and still rotates. Inside of gatefold is very clean. White inner is EX, clean and white with light wear only and no splits. Nice clean labels. Check out the photos. I DO PLAY EVERY RECORD I LIST NOW even though its often just quite briefly. Please bear in mind you may get a touch of background sound, even if its just on intros and between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding,scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN BEST QUALITY MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS. I ALWAYS COMBINE POSTAGE BUT COST DEPENDS ENTIRELY ON WEIGHT OF PACKAGE.
