Grading notes: I visually inspect as well as play grade my listed records, I list based on the Goldmine standards below;
VINYL

Near Mint (NM)

Nearly perfect record, played rarely if ever at all. May have one or two very light scuffs or hairline scratches that will not affect play. Record shows no completely obvious signs of wear.

Very Good Plus (VG+)

Shows some signs that it has been played but otherwise handled by a previous owner who took good care. May have a few more light hairline scratches that may or may not affect play with either light static or one or two skips.

Very Good (VG)

Record surfaces may show some slight signs of wear and may have a few more noticeable minor scuffs and/or scratches. Surface noises may be evident when playing but will not overpower music. Will be evident static in background and may skip more than once.
 
COVER

Near Mint (NM)

Very minor signs of wear or cover impressions. Artwork is very close to perfection, may have some very minor shelf wear on corners but otherwise handled by a previous owner who took great care.

Very Good Plus (VG+)

Cover is clean but may have minor shelf wear, marks and/or writing. May have some minor ring wear and/or some slight discoloration or staining. Cover may also have some minor seam wear and the corners may have small creases and/or fraying.

Very Good (VG)

Cover is slightly more worn and used. Seams may be starting to split and may be held together with clear tape. There may be moderate ring wear but the artwork is still attractive. Cover may have more evident yellowing or discoloration and cover may also have larger writing, labels or marks. Corners may have more apparent creases and/or fraying.
