Description

This is an original 1st issue from December 1971 - whist still riding high in the charts. Please note there are super early copies from the week of release - but they can get somewhat pricey! Atlantic catalogue sticker on rear cover and in great condition. Matrix A3/B4. Original Inner too..... 100% genuine and complete.
Vinyl (Ex) In super nice condition and has only seen light use. Under close inspection I could make out a couple of slight marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an at least Excellent level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are lovely and quiet and the audio comes across with excellent clarity. A few crackles in one isolated spot per side....that was it. PLAYs CLEAN into those fussy acoustic numbers...superb@!! If you want a definitive rendition of this all time classic...I would have a long hard think about this one..You can pay a fortune for Zep IV....but we can guarantee you a top level playing 1st issue - without veering into ridiculous $$$...
Cover (Vg+) In smart condition with clean surfaces front and rear. Some edge wear. The spine is in really good order 80% intact. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Vg-) Splits. Will be repaired.
