Description
Led Zeppelin - IV
(Atlantic 2401012 UK LP 1971)
This is a UK original 1971 LP pressing. This is one of the rarest UK original pressings. The labels have been re-stickered twice. One is a "Led Zeppelin" title sticker. The other has "Kinney Music Ltd., "Superhype Music Inc." and "Produced by Jimmy Page" credits.
It has a matt gatefold sleeve. It comes with its original tracklisting/ lyric inner sleeve. This is printed on textured brown paper.
The record has red & maroon Atlantic labels & has A-3 1 2/ B-4 1 1 matrix stampers. "Pecko Duck" & "Porky" are etched in the dead wax.
Gatefold Sleeve: There is some mild to more moderate rubbing wear to the bottom edge. There is some light to mild rubbing wear to the top edge. There is some light rubbing wear to the spine. Otherwise very nice. VG+ condition.
Vinyl: Mild to more moderate sleeve rubs can be seen under a strong light. Good+ condition. There are a very few small, & light, stains on Side 1's label. Otherwise mild spindle wear.
Side 1 has an issue with the 1st track. There some light, or mild, intermittent distortion/ hissing throughout. The side plays Good+ to VG overall. There is some light, or mild, crackle in some quieter places. There are also a few light clicks on "Stairway To Heaven". Side 2 plays VG to VG+ overall. There is some light, or mild, crackle in some quieter places.
The inner sleeve has a seam split along the entirety of the bottom. There is an 1 cm seam split at each other side. It is in VG condition overall.
The vinyl has been placed in a separate plain paper inner sleeve. This will protect the actual inner from any further damage in transit.
Grading adheres to “Record Collector” specifications. I shall use good quality packaging (proper vinyl mailers & two card dividers).
