Description

An original very 1st press of ITTOD on the UK Swan label. Matrix A5/B5 - very 1st iteration. Stamped "Strawberry" - both sides. Worth holding out for the very 1st press as these copies are pressed heavy, way way heavier than typical stock from '79. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original cover - the early ones are printed on very nice heavy card. Also included is the original white inner sleeve. PLEASE NOTE there's NO gimmick brown outer bag [i.e. it is absent].
Vinyl (Ex) In lovey condition and has clearly only seen light use. Under close inspection I couldn't make out anything more than a couple of very light marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an, at least, EXCELLENT level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are really nice and quiet and the audio comes across with superb clarity. By and large a very nice clean player with precious little to complain at. Interference is very limited in nature and infrequent. You might detect a few crackles in a couple of isolated spots [e.g. in the intro to Side 1 ]. Overall a rather impressive rendition.
Cover (Vg+) Nice heavy-card employed, here, which has helped preserve it. The front looks great with a creases in the top left corner and minimal surface wear. Edge wear is relatively light and it just exhibits a few light stress creases. The spine looks fine with the text more or less all still legible. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Ex) Superb looking and has avoided any ageing or marking. No splits.
