Description
A beautiful original-era US pressing of The Song Remains The Same — still one of the most atmospheric and powerful live documents in the entire Zeppelin catalog.
This is the real analog-era deal:
1976 Swan Song double LP with the classic SS 2-201 catalog number and original-style matrix information including:
ST-SS-763683-N deadwax on Side A
Pressed during Zeppelin’s peak years and loaded with that huge, warm, cavernous live sound modern digital versions never quite capture the same way.
And this set absolutely delivers:
No Quarter
The Rain Song
Since I’ve Been Loving You
Dazed and Confused
Stairway to Heaven
all unfolding with that sprawling mid-70s Zeppelin grandeur that made this soundtrack legendary.
Collector details:
* Original US Swan Song pressing
* Double LP set
* Original inner sleeves included
* Multi-page inner gatefold photo/booklet section present and exceptionally clean
* Vintage matrix/deadwax markings intact
* True 1970s pressing character throughout
The vinyl itself presents beautifully and retains a glossy vintage look collectors want from original Zeppelin pressings.
The jacket shows honest age and storage wear consistent with a real surviving mid-70s copy: mild shallow
visible record impression/ring wear, minor corner wear, and a few small creases — exactly the kind of authentic shelf history longtime collectors expect from an original 1976 Zeppelin live set that actually survived the decades. The spine is tip top.
This is not some modern repress pretending to be vintage. This is a genuine original-era Swan Song copy with all the analog warmth, packaging character, and collector appeal that comes with it.
A seriously cool Zeppelin piece.
